Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account on Glim, downloading the app, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Glim. These terms form a legal agreement between you and the team operating Glim.
Who Can Use Glim
You must be at least 16 years old to use Glim. You also confirm that you are legally able to enter into this agreement, that the phone number you provide belongs to you, and that you are not barred from using the service under the laws of your country.
Your Account
Your account is tied to the phone number you verified during sign-up. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure and for everything that happens on your account. If you lose access to your phone number or believe someone else has accessed your account, contact us at info@helloglim.com as soon as possible.
What Glim Is — and Isn't
Glim is a small, private app for staying close to a handful of people who matter to you. It is not a public social network, an advertising platform, or a place to broadcast to strangers. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product evolves. We will try to give you reasonable notice of significant changes, but the experience may shift between versions.
Your Content
You keep ownership of everything you create on Glim. By posting or uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, display, and process that content for the limited purpose of operating Glim and delivering it to the people you have chosen to share it with. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except where we are required by law to retain it or where it has already been shared with others who continue to hold copies.
Acceptable Use
Glim is built for genuine connection. You agree not to use it to harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or stalk any person; to upload content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes someone else's rights; to send unsolicited messages or spam; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems; to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service; or to use Glim in any way that violates applicable laws. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
Content You See From Others
Content shared with you on Glim comes from the people you have chosen to connect with. We do not pre-screen or endorse it. If you encounter content that violates these terms or you believe is unlawful, you can stop sharing with the person who posted it, and you can report concerns to info@helloglim.com.
Service Availability
We work hard to keep Glim running smoothly, but we cannot promise the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss caused by interruptions or downtime.
Suspension and Termination
You can stop using Glim and delete your account at any time by emailing info@helloglim.com from the address or phone number associated with your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if your use of Glim creates risk for other users or for us, or if we are required to do so by law. We will normally tell you before we do this unless it is impractical to do so. On termination, your content will be removed in line with our Privacy Policy.
No Warranties
Glim is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages — including loss of data, loss of relationships, or lost profits — arising from your use of Glim. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of one hundred euros (€100) or the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you upload, your use of Glim in breach of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should stop using Glim. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
